1) Use JSGME Mod activator:
Simply extract JSGME.exe inside your pCars2 root folder (...\steamapps\common\Project CARS 2).
When running JSGME, the default folder for mods is called "MODS", so create a folder with that name on your pCars2 root folder.
2) You will need the latest "Bootfiles" by JdougNY, which allow for mods to be installed in pCars2.
(Those files can be downloaded here: https://projectcarsmoddingteam.weebly.com/downloads---project-cars-2.html)
Extract the bootfiles into the "MODS" folder.
Folders should read like this: "...\steamapps\common\Project CARS 2\MODS\_Bootfiles for PC2 Vx.x.x.x (Activate After Cars)"
NOTE: Wait to activate the Bootfiles, until step #5
3) Copy the folders and files for the Pavey Longhood into the "MODS" folder.
Folders should read like this:
"...\steamapps\common\Project CARS 2\MODS\VRC Chevrette 28GTO V1.0\", then all subfolders (animation, gui, etc)
4) Addon cars require an entry into both vehiclelist.lst and driveline.rg.
*We have included a folder called “_Bootfiles for PC2 V188.8.131.52 (Activate After Cars)” which you can combine with your bootfile folder in
order to automatically add the entries, but if you have any other addon cars installed it may cause some conflicts.
If you use our files, ignore what's left of step 4 and jump to step 5.*
Open these files using either XML editor, notepad or a text editor.
In the "Bootfiles" subfolders, navigate to "Vehicles\" folder and
add this entry to the vehiclelist.lst:
In the "Bootfiles" subfolders, navigate to "vehicles\physics\driveline\" and
add this entry to driveline.rg at the end of the file, above the word "END"...
RECORD RWD_VRC_CHEVRETTE l_driveline
5) Activate all addon cars FIRST using JSGME, then activate bootfiles afterwards.
This will cause less trouble whenever bootfiles is revised for new patches.
When a new bootfiles is needed, you would only need to deactivate and replace bootfiles,
while leaving all addon cars activated.
If you experience any trouble during the installation of this mod please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
